Who We Are Looking For: 

Our Bitcoin events serve as the de facto gathering place to connect, collaborate, educate, and celebrate the powerful world Bitcoin enables. Serving our community through these conferences while bridging the mainstream to the Bitcoin culture is critical to our mission. As the global leader in Bitcoin conferences, we serve many stakeholders across the broad Bitcoin and finance community and require a skilled account management team to work alongside our sales. 

As an account manager, your primary focus will be executing and managing the sponsorship relationships and contracts for Bitcoin 2022. From the moment our sales team partners with a company, you will be the person owning the relationship and ensuring their expectations are met. You will be responsible for client success and available at all times leading up to the event -- willing to adapt to their needs in various ways. Success will depend on building and fostering these relationships while identifying growth opportunities for our sales team.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a passionate Bitcoiner with Account Management experience who brings high energy to our team. It’ll be someone who loves working with customers and not only solving problems once they arise but uncovering potential problems and resolving them before they happen. 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Executing - From the point of the sales handoff (introduction to you) to relationship management in perpetuity, you will be the main point of contact. The client (and our sales team) will rely on you to execute what’s been sold. You will be the “Quarterback” to ensure all milestones are met.
  • Assist customers as needed with constant communication and execution of contract deliverables
  • Communication is crucial to our client’s expectations
  • Establish clear retention goals and process milestones for the client and company to work toward
  • Experience working to promote the value of the product and promoting value through customer experience
  • Including identifying upsell opportunities for our sales team
  • Work hand in hand with Sales to ensure we are retaining, upselling, and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Includes being meticulous about CRM Management so that both Accounts and Sales teams are on the same page
  • Data entry from Account Managers in our CRM is crucial. The organization is a massive part of this job. 
  • Assist in onboarding other Account Managers / develop best practices and materials for other members of the team
  • Via feedback from the client, it will be your responsibility to develop ‘case studies’ and ‘customer testimonials,’ which we can productize and use to sell new clients.
  • Review customer complaints and concerns and seek to improve all aspects of the customer experience with the company
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of products and services, assist customers with questions and suggest the best products for their needs
  • Optimize existing processes within the company and actively enhance all Customer Success initiatives


What You Will Bring To The Team

  • High energy, engaging personality which is eager to be ‘on the ball’ to respond to clients in real-time
  • A problem solver, who is relentless in ensuring customer satisfaction. If you don’t have the answer, you will not stop getting it until your client is happy.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service or customer success position strongly preferred
  • Experience working with brand image and promoting value through customer experience
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships
  • Technical skills required as they relate for the use of the product to service to be solid accountability and personal organization is essential.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized - All meetings recorded in CRM for company visibility. 
  • Ability to establish milestones and keep all team members on the same page
  • Deep understanding of customers concerns and thoughts regarding the use of products and the ability to troubleshoot as needed
